Twitter has just implemented a brand new "Go Live" button, which lets any Twitter user broadcast live from the Twitter app without having to have the Periscope livestreaming app installed. Of course, the underlying "engine" for the live broadcast is really Periscope, which is owned by Twitter. But this is a huge breakthrough that could allow Twitter to triumph over its stagnant growth and compete with Facebook Live.
